Two Revs called up for U-23 squad; Knighton invited to camp

A pair of this year's Revolution draft picks have been called up to the US MNT U-23 camp in preparation for an upcoming tour of Japan. Midfielder Ryan Solle and forward Adam Cristman will be reported to the camp in Carson, CA yesterday in preparation for the squad's January 16 departure to the Far East. There, they will compete against the Japanese U-22s on February 21st, and an undisclosed Japanese club on the 23rd.

It was also announced that goalkeeper Brad Knighton has been invited to train with the team in the coming days. Knighton, a product of UNC-Wilmington, was a standout during last Friday's invitation-only tryouts, and made several acrobatic saves throughout the course of the prceedings.
