Kicks and Tidbits

A convenient, easy to use sample of the events that have taken place in Revs Nation this week:

-Taylor Twellman called to decline Bob Bradley's invitation to the US MNT training camp, which is set to begin on January 4th. Twellman cited his ongoing recovery from hernia surgery, which was performed soon after the end of the '06 MLS campaign, as the primary reason for his decision.

-The team officially announced that M/D Daniel Hernandez has re-signed with the team. Hernandez will hope to achieve more time on the field in '07, after spending much of the '06 season battling injuries.

-The team also announced the hiring of Gwynne Williams as their goalkeeper coach. Williams, who coached the goalkeepers at Lynn University (FL) during the past 11 season, takes over the spot that Dave Vannone held before leaving the team mid-way through the '06 season.

-If the recent mild mid-December temps are spoiling you, and you can't bear the thought of snow shoveling, cold kitchen floors, and frozen alley cats on your back patio yelping for food and shelter (yes, I have issues), take a look at the vacation getaways the Revs and TNT Vacations have in store for you.

-For those of you who've always wished that Ashton Kutcher would get a Revs players one of these days, here's the next best thing: James Riley gets punked, courtesy of some mischievous teammates.

Merry Christmas everyone!
